Capturing the Magic: A Photographic Journey of Resonate Suwannee (Review + Gallery)
Hey! I just returned from an incredible experience at Resonate Suwannee, a more minor but truly special music festival held at the historic Suwannee Music Park. Let me tell you, this festival was one for the books!
Walking through the campgrounds, I kept seeing the phrase "I'm Glad You're Here" everywhere—from banners to keychains. It was a small but sweet touch that made me feel so welcome. And I wasn't alone! The festival was full of people of all ages, some experiencing their first-ever music festival.
Everyone seemed to agree on how amazing it felt to be surrounded by love, compassion, and happiness. It made the whole experience feel so simple and pure. Everyone was in high spirits and ready to have a great time, which made the atmosphere electric.
The stages were set up perfectly to keep the music flowing non-stop. When one band finished on one stage, another was ready to go on the other immediately. The organizers kept everything running smoothly so we could enjoy the music without interruptions. The Amphitheatre showcased a variety of genres, from rock to jazz to funk fusion, while The Porch stage hosted electronic artists. And if you were looking for a late-night dance party, The Music Hall was the place to be, with lots of electronic acts keeping the energy high.
Every act brought incredible energy to the festival, but a few stood out. STS9 played four sets over the three days, including an acoustic and a DJ set from drummer Zach Velmer. Acts like Chromeo, OTT, Sunsquabi, and Maddy O'Neal had everyone up and dancing with their infectious vibes.
To top it all off, the festival had different themes each day—fairy, party animal, and purple outfits—that added to the fun. It was a memorable weekend, and I'm already looking forward to next year! Let me know if you want to hear more details or if you think you might want to join me next time!
